Strength
Would you say these are persuasive words, describing inner strength of self, the ability to see clearly what one lives for and if necessary, absolutely willing to die to defend? I would. I have been acquainted with many strong females, thus the interpolation suggests that women are able to show this manner of strength too.
To know “che vuoi” in Italian, what one wants, and that one wants is the pivot point to living well, to having a good life.
On the other hand, one who knows nothing other than inveterate shape-shifting, tasteless, whose inner self, essentially a black-hole, – is the anti-thesis of strength.
A man [woman] who says,
“I like this, I take this for my own
and want to protect it and defend it against anybody”;
a man who is able to manage something,
to carry out a resolution,
to remain faithful to a thought,
to hold a woman,
to punish and prostrate one who presumed too much;
a man who has his wrath
and his sword
and to whom the weak, the suffering,
the hard pressed,
and the animals too,
like to come…
