Dumbstruck
The front page of the NY Times had a graphic yesterday that rendered me speechless. The President of the United States was pictured standing behind a lectern on the front porch of the White House. The building was decorated in magnificent array of holiday green and illuminated splendor. The president was speaking:
“We want to give you, the American people, a great tax cut for Christmas.”
I shuddered. Never before has there been such a agglomeration of ignorance, incompetence, and indifference in the White House. This toxic hairball is about to reach
critical mass as a nuclear device on the cusp of conflagration. Will it be the passage of the “tax reform” bill into law? Will it be the outbreak of war with North Korea, or with Iran?
The center cannot hold.
