Consciousness
Monday arrives in splendor of sunlight.
I discovered a very tiny sprouting “volunteer” cucumber plant in my garden. The diminutive life survived months of winter to sprout on occasion of warm sunlight and spring rains. I rescued the seedling for transfer to a water filled vase. It’s about one inch in length. This will be for Violet. Our grand daughter loves growing seedlings in her room.
Someday perhaps she will decide that she wants to become a microbiologists… I cannot imagine a more interesting profession. A life dedicated to study tiny life-forms, perhaps to discover the nature of vegetative, of plant-consciousness.
You do believe that plants are aware in their own way, don’t you?
I see no reason to believe otherwise.
We are simply waiting for someone to show us how that works.
Perhaps you are curious about a song, something to light our way. This by Jesse Welles, Horses is a fine tune.
