Sartre famously said, “L’enfer, c’est les autres” or “Hell is other people” in the play No Exit written in 1944. No Exit begins with three characters who find themselves waiting in a mysterious room. It is a depiction of the afterlife in which three deceased characters are punished by being locked into a room together for eternity. No one can deny, that to our consciousness, sometimes things seem just like that.
Thus I make the case for rock ‘n’ roll.
