No Carols Please
Sunday morning has arrived.
Christmas carols are being dispensed from the overhead speaker, – already. I’m required to hear “Winter Wonderland” in a language other than English. I recognize the tune. I understand why Starbucks would rollout the red of the Christmas holiday three weeks before Thanksgiving. A head start on prime-time buying and give giving season is just good for end of the year profits. However, Christmas Carols this early, seems “a bridge too far” to me. It’s coercive. Please, no carols until after Thanksgiving… Every season to stand alone in its own time.
