Oh No!
Like Linus, who has the football snatched from his well aimed, and enthusiastic kick, by Lucy — could it be that all we have heard, have had represented to us is a grand hoax? The motivation to make the world a better place by reducing my carbon footprint, by the installation of the roof mounted solar array, and the composting and water conservation measures, etc. was unnecessary, a long road of discipline to hit the bullseye of an illusory target……
WTF. As much as I love Pete Townsend’s rock anthem performed by The Who, Won’t Get Fooled Again, is it going to happen yet again?

I guess there is no way to be sure about that. It is possible that the consensus of climatologists could be wrong about atmospheric warming and the consequences for life on this earth.
If the consensus of scientific opinion, based upon data gathered widely over space and time is wrong — at the very least we will have a cleaner, more life-centric planet to leave to future generations.
If they (the science) is right and we do nothing, — there is going to be no future where life as we know it thrives on this planet, and no future generation of our descendants.

Why of course; all 99%of them are wrong headed fools. Many of them were surely in the faked moon landing as well
