EVERY ANGEL IS TERRIFYING

EVERY ANGEL IS TERRIFYING

One More Thing

One More Thing

I do not feel sadness for Kurt.  Kurt lived, and passed on as do all living things.  Even the non-living suffer the effects of time.  It takes much longer for a mountain to reach the sea, but eventually it does.  Why are we here?  I do not know.  I am sure that as long as we are here, it is our duty to enjoy life, the beauty of this earth, and to help one another as we can.  We are here for the sake of others.  Einstein thought so too.  This world is like a tavern and we have been invited to be with one another for a while.  I feel sadness for those of us who will miss Kurt’s company.

Death
is coming in and leaving
the tavern,
death
leaving and coming in

–Federico Garcia Lorca
