One Way, One Power
Yesterday’s was a foreboding post.
Monstrous policies, the acts continue apace. We ought not to think that they are not overtaking us in one way or another. Still, reality is complex. We simply are unable to focus upon more than a sliver of the onrush of events. All things are a mosaic of good and evil.
Why not offset yesterday’s highlight by featuring images that indicate delight? These photos come from our four day family vacation. Most are of grandchildren. But first a few lines from the ancient Chinese text, The Tao Te Ching.
There is one Way
that is the proper course of all that lives
and from which all things flow and
one Power that animates and perfects all things
and they together
are one and the same time
the dynamism’s of nature,
of practical endeavor,
of social and political life,
and of spiritual truth.
