Rain in Our Hearts
Our grand daughter was laid to rest day before yesterday. She passed three weeks before she was due to be born. There is a cause which we most certainly will never know. There is no reason that she died. She was loved intensely and nothing was left undone to prepare for her coming into the world.
Baby Kai rest in peace. You will always be a part of our family, remembered for as long as we remain alive. You made a difference, made our lives, and the lives of many others better.
A memorial to Kai was dedicated in the out of doors–a feeder to provide nourishment to birds in the neighborhood. Candles were lit. Poetry was read. Tears were shed.
Rest in peace.
