If you grew up in the South, you will get the point. Someone said, History is like old National Geographic magazines, it just keeps piling up. While one may intellectually “move on” from horrific events, a subterranean emotional residue remains. Seems to me that having a black man in the White House has something to do with the visceral support for the Republican candidate. Historical details are beyond recall in a generation or two.
